HOW DO I PLACE MY ORDER?

You can place order with us in two different ways.

  • Through our farmer-market portal – for buying vegetables are fruits directly from the farmer.
  • Through farm builder tool – for creating your virtual kitchen garden.

Farmer-market portal is an online e-commerce store connecting consumers directly with the farmers. Farmers upload their produce details to the website. Consumers can choose a farm which delivers to their area and build their cart from the items available. This ensures that the consumers will be able to trace their vegetables to a farm where it is harvested. Please check the delivery areas covered by the farm to make sure that your area / community is covered. We don’t stock the perishables to make sure the freshness of the items you purchase and also to ensure that there is zero wastage. We consolidate all the orders from a community and procure directly from the farmer. We procure from only those farmers who have registered with us and uploaded their vegetables and fruit details in our farm details page. Consumer can see the details of the vegetables grown on the farm online and can also visit the farm to see the practices followed by the farmer. The items will be delivered directly to the consumer from the farm.

Farm Builder tool can be used for creating your virtual kitchen garden. To do this select a farm and add vegetables grown in that farm to your farm. You can select multiple farms to complete your virtual garden. While selecting a farm please make sure that your area (PIN code) is covered in the delivery limit of the farm selected. This can be done by entering your PIN code. You will be charged for each plant units you subscribe. You will be sharing the farming cost with the farmer for each unit you subscribe for a price agreed upon between the farmer and Geosminfarms private limited. This price break-up for each plant stages can be seen on the pricing page. You will be paying a monthly subscription amount towards the maintenance of your virtual farm by the farmer in the physical form. Harvest from your subscribed units will be delivered to you directly. Since the prices are decided and agreed up on at the time you subscribe, you will not be affected by the market fluctuations.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

For farmer-market portal (e-store): We want you to be completely satisfied with the products. If for some reason you are not and you wish to return any of your purchase, you can do it at the same time when the product is delivered to you and we will be happy to take the product back and hand over the balance amount or credit the balance in your account. For COD case, you only need to pay for what you take. For online payment case, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 working days.

For contract farming (using farm builder): You can unsubscribe the units added to your virtual kitchen garden at any moment and the unsubscribed units will not reflect in your next billing cycle. But the payment you made towards subscriptions each month for the units unsubscribed will not be refunded back to you. You will get the harvest only if you have made the complete payment until the harvest stage of the plant. You will not get any harvest if you cancel your subscription in between. The harvest cycle can have multiple stages and in such case, you will have to make payment for each stage to get the harvest from that stage. The harvest will be delivered to your house if your area is covered by the delivery limit specified by the farm. In case if you are not available at the time of delivery, you can instruct us to handover the same to your security or your neighbor.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE): If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@geosminfarms.com

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED MY ORDER?

We will confirm the receipt of your order by sending you an email to your registered email id.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER FOR DELIVERY?

Communityfarm.in’s delivery areas are divided into communities. There are two ways a community can be added to our website.

When a Community delivery point (CDP) joins us from the location you stay. The CDP then creates a community with us. The community can be an apartment, a layout or certain PIN codes. Anyone can become a CDP with us by filling a simple registration form. We will help CDP with delivery support if needed by the CDP for delivery within the community, otherwise, communityfarm.in will deliver to the CDP directly from the farm and all individual delivery within the community will be handled by the CDP.Added by us when we see that we have a sufficient number of customers joined from a specific area.

communityfarm.in and CDP together decide the farms that can be covered for that community based on parameters like distance, farming methods, the reputation of the farm etc. As of now, communityfarm.in’s delivery is restricted to only those areas which are covered by a Community delivery point (CDP).

If the customer’s delivery area is covered by a CDP, then home delivery is free for all farms tied up with the CDP provided the orders are worth a certain amount decided by the CDP for that community. Alternatively, the consumer can take the delivery directly from the CDP to avoid any delivery charges that the CDP may charge for low value orders.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT PAYMENT OPTIONS?

HOW WILL THE ORDER BE DELIVERED TO ME?

We will be delivering your confirmed order on the delivery day informed to you via email. CDP will help coordinating delivery within your community.

WHAT IF I AM NOT THERE AT HOME AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY?

If you will not be home at that time, please indicate if the goods can be delivered to security or provide an alternate location. Delivery will be made accordingly.

However, do ensure that the payment is handed over to the concerned person or that the payment is made online prior to delivery.
